The Ashram’s Spiritual Luncheon held every first Sunday of the month was held yesterday for the month of March. While the weather was pleasant, our usual elders and a few newcomers attended the luncheon.
The luncheon began with the recitation of Ramana Akshara Manamalai, followed by a short discourse by Dr Jeyarajan on the topic of “The presence of God in our lives”. Ms Aarabi Sivapathasundaram, who recently visited Ramanashramam in Tiruvannamalai, gave an account of her experiences of the visit and her personal transformation from this spiritual journey.
After the pooja, a nutritious but simple lunch was served. The luncheon was sponsored by Friendly Hands of Toronto, Canada. Proceedings closed around 1.30 pm.
