Yesterday was a memorable day at Saraswathy Illam – Ramanalayam with hundreds of lamps being lit for the Theepam celebrations.
Following the pooja at 5.30 pm, at 6.00 pm exactly, as the Theepam was being lit at Thiruvannamalai on the hill top, the main Theepam was lit at Ramanalayam, followed by the entire Ashram being adorned with little lamps. At the twilight hour, the light from the lamps radiated every corner of the ashram, bringing a positive energy and a sense of invigoration. As the proceedings continued in Thiruvannamalai, the live telecast was projected on a larger screen connecting everyone to the moment instantly.
The night ended with prasadam being served to all those who joined the Theepam celebrations.
