The Sunday luncheon held every first and third Sunday of each month was held today at Ramanalayam, Sri Lanka. The luncheon today was sponsored by Mrs Sasikala Kathirgamarajah (UK) in memory of her husband Rasiah Kathirgamarajah of Inuvil. The main spiritual sharing for the day was by Prof K Balasubramaniam, President Ramanalayam on the topic of Purposeful Living.
Medical Camp Inauguration
At the luncheon held today, a medical camp was inaugurated with Bhagavan Ramana’s blessings. Dr Yarlini Yogeswaran and Dr Yogeswaran, conducted the camp today including checking on patients for hypertension and blood sugar levels, and providing medical advice. In particular, Dr Yogeswaran spoke on how life style changes of the day have increased early diabetes and hypertension in the community, in particular amongst youngsters and on how a change in life style is essential for healthy living.
Over 30 participants at the luncheon attended the clinic. The medical camp will continue on the 3rd Sunday of each month.
