The Spiritual Luncheon regularly held on the 1st Sunday of the month and sponsored by Friendly Hands of Canada was held today at Saraswathy Illam – Ramanalayam. The luncheon was well attended and the weather was extremely conducive.
Prof Balasubramaniam, the President of the Ashram, spoke on oneness of God, the transient state of material wealth and the need for equanimity for real fulfilment in life. Dr Jeyarajan spoke on “Materialism and Spirituality”. The weekly provisions for elders was also distributed to selected beneficiaries under the Ramana Akshaya Food Program.
